LAB

At Round Edge, we provide a fully equipped darkroom with three enlargers, baths, running water, safelight, and all other tools needed. The three enlargers cover three different film sizes - 35mm, 120 film, 4x5inch sheet.  

 

With space and equipment available, you can develop your negatives and make black-and-white prints as big as 50x60 cm. The great thing is that you have 24/7 access so that you can print all day or all night long!

 

With this darkroom, we aim to provide the city and the surrounding areas with an accessible printing space to learn and practice a slow process of image-making. Slowing down and thinking: how do we turn a scene into an image physically and metaphorically?
